ARTS FOR ALL

Art and music are often the first programs to be cut when schools face budget constraints, despite research showing their powerful impact on child development. By removing them, we’re not just cutting classes—we’re cutting opportunities for kids to thrive. Arts for All is a campaign dedicated to Integrating art and music into everyday childhood learning by raising awareness and advocating for the arts– because they matter.

THE WORKBOOK

When I started creating the Arts for All workbook, I wanted every page to give children a sense of freedom and possibility. The activities are intentionally open-ended — kids are encouraged to draw their favorite meal, design a new invention, write a letter from their future self, or color while listening to music they love. These prompts invite kids to explore their identity, reflect on their experiences, and use art as a tool for storytelling and emotional expression.

I also designed the workbook with adults in mind. Each section includes short explanations or facts based on research about how the arts benefit child development — from boosting memory and focus to supporting creative problem-solving. That way, parents and educators don’t just see what kids are doing — they understand why it matters. It’s a simple way to bridge the gap between fun and function, so that creativity can be embraced as a real part of learning and growth.

Accessibility was also a priority. The workbook doesn’t require any fancy art supplies — just pencils, crayons, or whatever is on hand. It’s screen-free, easy to use at home or in classrooms, and designed so that children can engage independently or alongside an adult.

THE POSTERS

I created these Arts for All posters to introduce the importance of creativity in childhood. They’re designed to highlight the powerful benefits of art and music—like boosting brain function, enhancing learning, and supporting emotional well-being.

These posters aren’t just informative—they’re a call to action. They encourage viewers to support arts education, advocate for funding, and recognize the essential role of creativity in child development.
